Position: Senior Business Analyst, Commercial Economics

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid), or Eagan, MN (Hybrid)

Overview: The Senior Business Analyst, Commercial Economics supports pricing, deal performance, and customer analytics across IB Legal, helping drive revenue growth and margin improvement. This role partners with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Lifecycle teams to generate insights that inform pricing, packaging, and GTM decisions across the platform.

IB Legal is consolidating multiple legacy businesses into a unified commercial platform, and this role will flex both strategic thinking and tactical execution to support pricing, performance, and customer insights across products and channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop performance metrics and reports to effectively track deal performance, pricing trends, and discount behavior across products and customer segments
  • Evaluate bundle performance and cross-sell opportunities across the portfolio
  • Build business cases for pricing, packaging, and GTM decisions
  • Partner with sales and lifecycle teams to assess customer performance and identify expansion opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, retention, and margin through data-driven insights
  • Efficiently extract data from various sources, manipulate, validate, and turn numbers into actionable insights to drive commercial policies and decisions
What You’ll Work On

Qualifications
  • 3–6 years in Analytics to support business growth, strategy, and/or operations
  • Experience working with customer data, pricing, or financial analytics
  • Strong SQL query and Excel skills
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mine, manipulate, and analyze large, complex datasets from disparate systems or sources, and transform it into actionable insights for the business
